But what about that great review of the sketchy online casino you just read? That review was more than likely written by an affiliate marketer hired by the site to fool would-be gamblers into becoming would-be victims.

There are plenty of ethical marketers out there, but there are just as many unscrupulous ones, and those in the latter group are often too lazy to even do a little research and learn the site’s reputation. The internet is awash in fake reviews paid for with the money of the last round of victims, designed to bring in even more money from the next round.

Think about it. Should you trust a review containing little more than a link or two and maybe a screenshot? If they can’t even describe the pluses and minuses of a given site, is there any chance at all it’s a legitimate review? I would hope the answer is obvious.
